Allen "Bruce" Metts, passed away on February 28 at age 69 after a battle with Lung Cancer. He was surrounded by many loved ones as they gathered to celebrate his birthday and pray. He was born on February 29, 1952, and he was a longtime resident of Louisville KY. Bruce was married to his Soulmate, Bernadette “Bea” for 36 years April 7. Bruce had five children and his family was the light of his life. His family knew him as someone who could do anything. To his wife he was her "Gentle Giant." His heart was the size of the oceans. He was a talented carpenter who could create a masterpiece. He was always humble and kind and never boastful. He was soft spoken, man of few words, but when he spoke, he touched those around him. His gentle spirit was one that drew people to him.
