Bill Daniel Nellums, 66, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021. Bill was born in Munich, Germany to the late D.S. and Anita Nellums. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and would later work as a surgical technician for Baptist East Hospital in Louisville. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara Auter Nellums and brother, Mark Nellums. Survivors include his sons, Mark T. Nellums (Mia) and Jason Nellums; sister, Christine Schmulz (Robert); brothers, Fred Nellums (Karen) and Bobby Nellums; brother-in-law, Tony Auter (Angela); seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Bill’s wish for cremation was honored by his family. Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road, has been entrusted with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Children’s Home or Home of the Innocents.
