Frances Jane Hayden

Frances Jane Hayden, 82, entered Eternal Life Friday, November 13, 2020. Frances Jane was born in the St. Joe community of Marion County, Kentucky to the late Louis Jackson and Mary Mildred Thompson. She is reunited in heaven with her husband of 61 years, William Benedict Hayden, Sr. “Billy” Billy is missed by all, but especially by Jane. She was a loving mother to her two sons, Bill Hayden Jr. (Amy Lynn) and Don Hayden (Denise). She was known as both Ma and Mamaw to her six grandchildren Amy, Joe, Beth, Luke, Nick, and Emily Hayden. She was sister to 12 brothers and sisters but is survived by Denny Thompson (Bernadette) and Coleman Thompson (Joyce). She was an aunt to 73 nieces and nephews. She loved to be by the water, but not in it. She loved to pick blackberries with her grandchildren. She loved to play the slot machines. And we all loved her friend chicken. She will be remembered mostly for her generosity, strong faith, and big love for family. Visitation will be 3:00 – 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
