Frank M. Gradisek, 59, of Louisville, KY passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 20, 2022. He was proceeded in death by his mother, Catherine Gradisek (née Medved). He is survived by his daughter Elizabeth G. Ross (Justin); father Frank E. Gradisek, brother Vincent M. Gradisek (Beverly), sister Karen G. Budd (Doug), niece Sophie Budd and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Frank grew up in many places including: Illinois, Virginia, Pennsylvania and finally Kentucky, which was the birthplace of his beloved daughter. He was a graduate of Murray State University with a degree in Safety Engineering & Health. He was a member of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and the Slovene National Benefit Society (SNPJ). He was proud of his Slovenian and Croatian heritage. He retired from Whitney Young Job Corp., where he was known as their “Safety Frank”. Frank was an avid motorcyclist and car enthusiast, and had a talent for art and drawing. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family, was always willing to lend a helping hand and loved sharing his knowledge and wisdom. He left a deep impact on this world and everyone he met and will be sorely missed by everyone in his life. Frank’s visitation will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 5pm-8pm at Beatty-Rich Funeral Home in Madison, PA. His funeral will begin with Mass at 10am on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at St. Edwards Church located at 120 St. Edwards Lane, Herminie, PA 15637. The burial will follow at Westmoreland County Memorial Park in Hempfield Twp, PA. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to SNPJ Scholarship Fund, 247 West Allegheny Road, Imperial, PA 15126.
