Harry Thomas “Tommy” Vetter, age 78, passed away at Audubon Hospital Saturday, March 27, 2021. Tommy was a retired Journeyman from the IBEW Local 369 and would later work for H&R Block for 15 years. He faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force and was an avid bowler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Thurman and Mary Genevive Vetter; and brother, Thurman Joseph Vetter (Butchie). Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Jeanie S. Vetter; son, Thomas Wayne Vetter (Birdie); daughters, Mary Bischoff (Kenny) and Beth Troxell (Brian); sister, Carol Ann Hall (David); grandchildren, Nichole Murray (Clayton), Brittany Kozerski (Adam), Sabrina Yatalese (Austin), Scott Troxell (Jordan) and Spencer Troxell; great grandchildren, Bentley, Levi, Tyler, Riley Anne, and Waylon. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central – Radcliff, Kentucky. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or donations to support awareness and prevention of ovarian and breast cancer, c/o Making Strides.
