James "Bubba" Clements Jr.

James “Bubba” Clements, Jr, 68 passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020 at UofL Hospital. Bubba was born 12/25/51 a premature baby and a miracle to have survived. He graduated from Trinity High School where he won the 1970 KHSAA Individual Golf Championship in his Junior year. He went on to attend Polk Junior College in Florida and then to play in the 1978 and 1981 U. S. Open Tournaments. He was a member of the KY PGA and a two time KY Open runner-up. His family and golf were his two great loves and he loved us well. Bubba is preceded in death by his parents, James L. and Helen B. Clements and a niece, Stephanie Browning. Survivors include four sisters and one brother. Janice Parker; Pat Clements (Sue); Cindy Browning (Smitty); Bernadette “Bea” Metts (Bruce); Martha Johnson (Paul) and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Monday, June 8, 2020 at 1pm in the Chapel at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home followed by burial at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation is Monday, June 8, 2020 from 10am - 1pm at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home 3800 Bardstown Rd.
