John D Conrad Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

JOHN D CONRAD, JR. 39, lovingly known by family as “John Henry”, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. John was a graduate and lifelong AVID University of Louisville fan where he had a love of all sports there. After obtaining his Masters Degree from Bellermine University he was a longtime analyst with Constellation Energy. He was a member of Gilda’s Club, was a strong supporter of the American Cancer Society where he spoke for Relay for Life and participated in the Live Strong Program with the YMCA. Preceding him in death was his mother, Annette (Banks) Conrad; his twin brother, Joseph D. Conrad; and his dogs Lenny and Lucy (who John called “his girl”). Survivors include his loving wife, Kathleen (Lambert) Conrad; his father and stepmother, John and Linda Conrad; his stepbrother, David Conrad (Chassidy); his father-in-law, Timothy Lambert; mother-in-law, Marsha Jenkins; his mother’s companion, Jeff Rapoport; his devoted dog, Tate; numerous extended family and a host of friends. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 12th at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 10600 Taylorsville Road with burial in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday, August 11th at the funeral home. Special thanks is given to Dr. John Huber and the entire CBC family for the love and care that was given to John.
