Mary Rose Hofmann Klueber

Mary Rose Hofmann Klueber, 96, of Louisville, entered Eternal Life on Sunday, March 27, 2022. Mary Rose was born on January 29, 1926, in Louisville to the late Karl Albert and Mary Florine Byrne Hofmann. She was a graduate of Bethlehem Boarding School and retired from Sears and Vermont American. Mary Rose was a founding member of St. John Vianney Church and a current member of St. John Paul II Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Michael Joseph Klueber; son, Martin Joseph Klueber; parents; and brothers, Karl Joseph Hoffman, Albert Alexander Hofmann, and Rev. Raymond Hofmann. Carrying on Mary Rose’s legacy are her children, Michael Klueber (Sherry), Kevin Klueber (Lauren), Daniel Klueber (Bonnie), Kathie Hill (Rick), David Klueber (Terry), and Mary Pat Ballard (Barry); grandchildren, Michael Klueber (Courtney), Nathaniel Klueber, Sherilyn Klueber (Tad Hughes), Stephanie Crowe (Tim), Kristen Mannix, Katie Klueber, Kelly Klueber, Jason Klueber (Angela), Joey Ballard, and Ali Ballard; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister-in-law, Joanie Hofmann; and many wonderful friends, including Diana Cotton, work friends, and bunco buddies. Visitation for Mary Rose will be from 1-8 PM on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road. Funeral Mass will be at 11 AM on Friday, April 1 at St. John Paul II Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family wants to thank Mary Rose’s caregivers, Kim and Ruth, for their continued loving care for several years, and Nazareth Rehab for making her last days comfortable.
