Susan Christian Gregg
January 6, 1960 - February 5, 2022
Susan Christian Gregg, 62, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022. She was born January 6, 1960 to the late Earl K. and Ramona R. Christian. Susan was a beautiful person, inside and out. This was clear by how she not only cared for her own family, but for others as well. She became her mother’s caregiver until her death. Susan would later love and care for her daughter, Kristi, and her niece, Kelly with the same compassion. Susan was a great mother and “Nana”. She would give from the heart through her service to others. She was a cheerleading coach, a J’town little league team mom, room parent for Kristi, would help coach Kristi in many of her cheerleading teams, and was an active participant in planning the Gas Light Festival, and activities at the Hopewell Presbyterian Church, where she was a member for many years. Susan was a 1978 graduate of Jeffersontown High School and worked for Citizens Fidelity Bank until her Multiple Sclerosis prevented her from being able to continue. In addition to her parents, Susan is preceded in death by her niece, Kelly Lynn Page. She is survived by her husband, John Gregg; daughter, Kristi (John) Whitler; granddaughter, Charlie Sue Whitler; her brothers, Frank (Pam), and Mark Pribble, and Paul (Mindy) Christian; sister, Lori Christian; her, “other sister”, Donna Blakely Clark; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, February 10, from 1:00 to 7:00 pm at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 10600 Taylorsville Road. Susan’s funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Friday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial in Jeffersontown Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Louisville Metro Police Foundation. Memories of Susan and messages of support for the family can be shared at www.Ratterman.com.
