William "Corky" Anthony Volz

WILLIAM ANTHONY “CORKY” VOLZ, 62, passed from this world on Thursday January 14, 2021 after battling cancer for over a year. He worked with his family business Wayne’s Lawn Service for 31 years before retiring. He is a proud graduate of Trinity High School class of ’77. Corky was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Patricia (Voll) Volz. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Kim (Herp) Volz; sons, Adam (Katie Jackson), Ryan (Colleen) and David (Megan) Volz; grandchildren, Finley, Isla, Baylor and Elisan; sisters, Donna Helm (Rick) and Cheri Volz-Brown (David); brothers, John (Sherry) and Wayne (Jane) Volz; as well as several nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation to celebrate Corky’s life will take place from 4-8 p.m., Monday, January 18, 2021 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home; 3800 Bardstown Road.
